I cannot recommend Pieterse Optometrists highly enough! From the moment my husband and I walked in, we were treated with such warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. Natasha was incredible — she took her time with both of us, patiently explaining every tool, test, and analysis in a way we could truly understand.

What stood out most was her integrity. She tested our eyes thoroughly and explained that while she could prescribe glasses, our prescriptions were so minimal that it would be unethical to do so. That honesty really meant a lot and made it clear that her priority is her patients’ wellbeing, not profit.

Natasha also went above and beyond when my husband was on strong medical steroids for an unrelated condition. She offered to monitor his eye pressure regularly until he was off the medication.

What I also really value is her holistic approach to health. Natasha believes in treating the root cause rather than just the symptoms and often recommends natural solutions before jumping to pharmaceutical options.

After struggling with my vision for so long, he prescribed scleral lenses that have completely transformed how I see the world. I’m not exaggerating when I say I now have microscopic vision, I can literally see floating dust 😄

The team at the practice is just as incredible. Everyone is friendly, and genuinely cares about your comfort and experience. A special shout-out to Lerato—she was incredibly patient and kind while showing me how to insert and remove the lense. That kind of support makes all the difference when you're trying something new.
